Lantern was started in 1989 by Redland Church with the aim of providing a first-class preschool education within the context of the Christian faith for children in the local community aged between three and five years.The Lantern is now led by Liz Taberner with a dedicated team of staff members and volunteers. In addition to the morning sessions, there is now a lunch club.
