Glenys Goulstone studied medicine at Bristol University and theology at Bristol's Trinity College. She became a Christian whilst a medical student, mainly through the friendship of a Chinese classmate.
After working as Youth Secretary for Crosslinks from 1980-85, she joined OMF International. She served in Taiwan from 1985 to 1993, doing student work and church planting, then in 1994 she moved to OMF International HQ in Singapore where she was Deputy Director for Personnel for eight months. From 1995-2000 she was involved with the placement, supervision and pastoral care of Christian professionals working in China with a different, but like-minded organisation.
In June 2001, she was transferred to the OMF US Homeside team to act as Professional Service Advisor, mobilising and helping to prepare Christians for service in Creative Access Nations. In December 2002 she was appointed as Southwest Regional Coordinator, responsible for overseeing OMF mobilisation, church relations and member care in the Southwest US. This area includes southern California, southern Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Glenys works out of the OMF Southwest office in Orange county,southern California.
Redland has been one of Glenys' main supporting churches for 30 years.
