Our fantastic new church halls are at the heart of our ministry at Redland. We use them for services like Ignite and our Family Service, for Lantern Pre-school, Toddlers and the Chat-a-Box holiday club and many of our other church and community activities; and they are also available for hire to local people and community groups for meetings and events.

We’ve replaced the old dilapidated halls, kitchen and lounge with a suite of three modern interconnecting halls that open up to seat up to 280 people, a brand new fully-equipped kitchen, more comfortable lounge space and a welcome/refreshment area, as well as improved facilities for Lantern Preschool and an improved entrance from Redland Green. We’ve updated the audio-visual facilities and have installed solar panels and a heat recovery system to reduce the building’s carbon footprint. Additionally the section of the halls that was built in the 1990s was refurbished to provide improved meeting rooms and office space.

Thanks to the incredible fundraising efforts of our congregation and the hundreds of generous donations from church members, local individuals and families, businesses and grant-giving bodies, over £1.9million has been raised to date to help fund this redevelopment.

Our re:new – Building for community fundraising effort will continue until we have fully funded the project – keep an eye on re:newsletter updates for details of forthcoming fundraising events.
